Physical therapy is a specialized, non-invasive medical profession based around movement science to help individuals develop, maintain, and restore appropriate body mechanics. It provides individually tailored programs that help patients improve mobility and balance, decrease pain, and maintain or regain independence.
We aim to help individuals who face a wide range of conditions and challenges, including, healing from post-surgical procedures, orthopedic injuries, neurological impairments, back/neck pain, joint-related disorders (such as arthritis), balance problems, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Physical therapists examine each person and then develops a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability. We work with your doctors to meet progressive recovery and personal goals. Treatments include exercise with overall wellness; stretching and strengthening exercises; manual therapy (hands-on); balance training activities; bio-feedback for better understanding of movements and muscle activity; and patient education to promote healing and avoid re-injury.
